Christmas 2014

This year Tyler and I spent the whole of Christmas Eve with his family, and Christmas day was split between both of our families.

I only took a few pictures Christmas Eve...
Christmas Eve was spent hanging out and watching Christmas movies with the Oscarsons. We had a nice dinner of Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, gravy, lingonberry jam and jello.

Tyler's mom always makes/bakes lots and lots of treats and goodies for Christmas and Christmas Eve. I should've taken pics of them all! They were so good!

I just love cozy fires and Christmas lights!

 Libby was our St. Lucia

Christmas morning we went back over at the Oscarson's by 9AM and immediately began opening presents. (They had already started, though it wasn't hard for us to catch up with them).

I love these next few pictures. This was right after Gemma woke up. The pic on the right, I feel like she's looking at me like..."help, mom!" (She's kind of emotional when she first wakes up hahah!)

And then.....
That lip!! Oh I love it so much!!

I had to take lots of pictures of Riley holding Gemma. This was the first time he's shown interest in her! He asked to hold her! Hahah!
Also notice her huge long tongue....she gets that from me! LOL
Brooks is shocked that Riley is holding Gemma.

My favorite Christmas present this year was the stockings that Rowan made for Gemma and I! She knitted the same pattern for us that Tyler's grandma did for all of them so we now all have matching stockings with our names on it! I might have teared up a little when I opened them.

Around noon we left to head up to my family's house for the rest of the day. There we pretty much just hung out and enjoyed each other's company and ate a yummy ham dinner!

Gemma and her cousins, Cooper and Highland.
These boys are only 4 days apart! They'll be 2 in just about 5 months!

This year's Christmas was nice, but I'm looking forward to the Christmases to come! It's only going to get more fun each year as Gemma grows and I can't wait!

Merry Christmas to all
and to all a good night!

Bathtime with cousins!

After the sweater party, Gemma spit up on herself randomly so I decided to put her in the bath with her (2nd) cousins, Harvey and Scarlett. Gemma loved it!! This was the first time she's ever taken a bath in a normal tub instead of her infant tub. We kept the water really shallow and I kept my hand on her belly almost the entire time.
I'm so excited for when she can sit up on her own; she'll really love baths then!!

Harvey and Scarlett kept their distance. They knew they had to be gentle around the baby! So cute!
Don't mind the fig leaves HAHA!

I love these two! They are so darn cute!

Ugly Sweater Christmas Party 2014

The Orr's hosted the ugly sweater Christmas party this year, just like last year! (Which you can view HERE) It was a lot of fun especially since I got to dress Gemma up for it!
I found this outfit of Gemma's at D.I. for only $5 and knew I had to have it for the party! It's a perfect mix of Christmas, cuteness, and tackiness!

Winners of the Sweater party!
Abby won first place all-around.
Aaron won for the men.
Gemma won for the kids'.

Bizzy and Jacob perfomed "Christmas in the Sand" by Colbie Callait.

Bizzy just playin' around with Gemma.

I wish I had taken a picture of the white elephant gifts we brought for the party! We brought a pair of gloves that had a cat's face on them, as well as a pair of slippers that were from the Luxor Casino in Vegas. (I got those from Savers, they were sealed in a bag, unused). We also brought a box of cake mix and frosting to go with it, and the book How the Grinch stole Christmas, which I actually stole back during the exchange cause I actually wanted it for Gemma!

Babies! (Even though Scarlett is really a toddler, and we're missing Lila!) These girls are going to be good friends!
Youngest to oldest:
Rosie, 6 weeks
 Elenora, 10 weeks
 Gemma, 4.5 months
 Scarlett, 14 months.
