My 21st Birthday

Sami's birthday 2011

On the day of my 20th birthday, we went to Texas Roadhouse with the Baileys!
I got to sit on a saddle while they sang to me!

On the way to meet us at Texas Roadhouse, Tyler pulled a U-turn and went over the curb a bit, and it popped the tire! This happened just down the road from the restaurant, so Tyler left the car parked on the shoulder and ran over. Then after dinner Ryan helped Tyler change the tire!

A few days later, I had my birthday party!
I made my invite all by myself! I'm pretty proud...

Sami's birthday 2012

This year I didn't have a birthday party, but I spent a lot of time with family and friends!
Just like the year before, the Baileys, Tyler and I went to Texas Roadhouse!
[We're thinking this needs to be a tradition.]

After Texas Roadhouse, we went back to the Bailey's for some cake!

Thanks Rachel, for the little party!!

Valentine's Day

Tyler's definitely a romantic. I think he likes Valentine's Day because, to him, it's a good excuse to spend money on me! [Even though I've told him all I really need on V-day is flowers!]
So of course, on Valentine's, Tyler surprised me at work with a bouquet of flowers!
[I wish I took a picture of them- darn!]
And when I got home, he presented me with a lovely pair of earrings and a matching bracelet!
Tyler is so sweet to me. I am so blessed to have found such a wonderful husband!
He's always finding ways to serve me. Anytime I need something, he's there. When I begin to ask him for something "Tyler, will you-"  "YES" he says, before I can even get the question out.
I don't know what I did to deserve such a sweet man like him, but I sure lucked out!

The day of Valentine's Day, I actually worked, so we went out to eat and went shopping the day after.

Thanks for always treating me like a princess, Tyler!
I love you so much!!

Sami & Erin's Birthday Celebration

Erin's birthday: February 5th
Sami's birthday: February 21st.
Erin and I signed up for the birthday club for Tucanos Brazillian Grill so that the month of our birthdays, they send us a coupon for buy one get one free deals. So we decided we should go [the four of us] in celebration of both of our birthdays!

So, I have to record this funny story:
Preface- Erin had just turned 18 a couple weeks before this dinner, and she was way psyched to be an adult finally [even though I feel like she's been an adult for years now].
So while we were ordering drinks, she was taking a long time to decide what to get, and we kinda teased her about taking so long, when the waiter chipped in with his teasing-
"Who brought the child along?"
HAHAH! I'm sure he thought she was way older than just 18, when really, she JUST turned 18! It looked like Erin didn't know whether to cry or laugh. We all laughed really hard [she didn't cry]. Just the irony of it was hilarious!

We LOVE Tucanos! Whenever we go, I usually eat a bunch from the "Salad Festival" [salad buffet], but Tyler won't get anything from the buffet because he wants to save all the room in his stomach for the meat they bring around to the tables! His favorite is the garlic steak! My favorite is the mango cod- amazing!!!!
The Riverwoods shopping center is beautiful at night! They ALWAYS have white Christmas lights up, and during the actual Christmas season, they have colored lights too!
After walking around the Riverwoods, we went into Blickenstaff's, a really cool toy store, to check it out.
They had so many cool things!! There were all sorts of vintage toys and candies, along with new toys of course. In one part of the store they had dress-up hats sitting on a hat/coat rack!
Pharaoh Tyler

Roman Soldier Corey, and Major Erin, the Astronaut.

Queen of Hearts!

We discovered these sweet little rides! We crashed into many things trying to get the hang of them...well...at least I did....they were hard to control at first!

Corey and his magnet jewelry.

Erin and I decided we wanted to take pictures together in the photobooth! But right before we put the money in, we realized-what the heck? Why don't we get the guys to come in too?!
So we got Tyler and Corey to come in there with us....
the booth was really small. There was really only room for two people, so Tyler leaned in, and Erin kinda sat on Corey's lap, except I think she fell out at some point - hahah!
I love that Erin kinda falls out of the picture, then comes back, then all of the sudden Tyler falls out!
We're a silly bunch.

Erin's birthday

February 5th is Erin's birthday. I decided in January that I wanted to do something really fun for her since it was her 18th! We all had been talking about how it would be fun to go up to my great aunt's house in Brigham City sometime, and what better occasion than a birthday celebration! So I called Aunt Marilyn, talked to Erin's parents (we were going to surprise Erin with the trip), took off the work, and headed up!
For dinner that night we went to Maddox, where everyone (but me) enjoyed their famous steaks!
I was in the mood for grilled cheese! :)
After Maddox, we went back to Aunt Marilyns, where Blake, Robin, Seth, and Alissa had just arrived. We gave our birthday presents to Erin, hung out, chatted and played a game of "The Game of Things" then finally went to bed!
The next day we just kinda hung out some more, then went to Pizza Hut for lunch before coming back home.

Happy 18th, Erin! Love you!!
