Halloween 2015

Like last year, we went trick-or-treating in the Orr's & Bailey's neighborhood, but first we went to the Oscarson's neighborhood to visit a few houses!

Ryan has had that Mario costume a very long time. And for YEARS (seriously like 3 years I think) I've been trying to find an affordable Luigi costume in Tyler's size for him to wear for Halloween along with Ryan in his Mario costume!
FINALLY, I found one!! So so so happy I did! It was so fun and hilarious watching these guys the whole evening. I think they had a lot of fun riding their "Mariokarts" around the neighborhood!

Tyler doing is best impression of Luigi's famous death stare that he does in Mariokart 8.

Yeah, neither of their costumes fit super well...oh well! Still awesome!
(You can see on Tyler's legs how short the costume was on him!)

Thanks for helping Ella!

These men were so proud of their costumes. Heck, I was proud too!!

Maisy was Waldo, Aaron was Captain Jack Sparrow!

Ella was something from Doctor Who...one of the Doctors maybe?

Neinah was Wert from Over the Garden Wall. It's a quirky, random show from Cartoon Network, that Tyler and I found surprisingly entertaining, albeit really weird.
Great job on the costume, Neen!

There were a few troubles with the smaller ATV throughout the evening.

Just hanging out, chatting. Gemma was getting tired!

Another amazing pair: Abby and Dallin! If you haven't guessed it, they were Wanda and Cosmo from The Fairly Oddparents! Abby made their costumes! (And I'm proud to say that I did their hair!)
Amazing costumes, Abby!

We had a great Halloween! Next year Gemma will really know what's up! Can't wait!

Ward Halloween Party 2015

Just a few photos from the party....
We love those cute Chantry girls! They're so sweet to Gemma!
And yes...Tyler looks more like a cow than a Dalmatian! Whoops!

Some gifts from Gemma's birthday

So, a couple of Gemma's birthday gifts were made by loved ones so of course I have to document this with some cute pictures!

This ridiculously adorable quilt was made by our dear family friend, Kelli! I've seen other quilts she's made for cousins and an aunt of mine, and I've always envied them. I always secretly wished she would make one for me/Gemma, and my wish came true!!! Does it sound silly to say I feel honored that she made us a quilt? Cause I totally feel honored! Haha!!
Kelli also included a little framed picture of Alice and the Madhatter...I need to post a picture of it, it is so cute! I was like...where on earth did she get this little picture, when her daughter, Candice (who was the one who presented the gift to me for her mother), suggested that it might be a Hallmark card. We open up the back of it and sure enough, it's a hallmark card!! Hahaha how clever is that?!
So grateful to have Kelli and her family as friends! They're such a great family!

Another homemade gift Gemma received was this cute outfit! Our family friend, Ashley made it! She knows how much I love Disney and Minnie Mouse, so she made Gemma this adorable onesie that has Gemma's name and tutu that says "birthday girl" on it. Now, originally, Ashley wanted Gemma to wear the outfit for her cake smash at her party, but I was like...uh, no way am I letting that outfit get ruined! I'm so glad I didn't have her wear it! Cause there was a lot of purple and pink frosting on that cake, and not to mention the raspberry filling! Pretty sure that onesie would've been stained. And that would've been a bummer, cause it's so dang cute!!
Ashley is already an awesome person, but throw in her cuteness, sweetness, creativity, and a love for Disney, and she becomes one of the best people I know! Love you, Ashley!
