Gemma having fun at a birthday party

My (2nd) cousin, Dani's little boy just turned one and I took some pictures at the party!
Gemma had so much fun running around and playing with other kids!

Sample from Lindsay's bridal shoot

So...I am obsessed with Albion Basin, and will be doing many photo shoots up there from now on!
Though, next time I do a shoot up there early morning, I'll be more prepared. It was FREEZING. Not literally... but it had to be in the 40s. For one, we went up around 6:30am. Second, it was way up in the mountains. Like, the elevation where we were at was over 9,000ft. Third....and I would have known this had I paid attention to temperature when I looked up what the weather would be...it was the first chilly day of fall!
So this poor bride only had her wedding dress and tennis shoes! Luckily, I decided to put an extra hoodie in my car the day before, so she wore that between poses.
Lindsay's friend did her hair and makeup and tagged along for the shoot as well. Lindsay's mother and mother-in-law came too to help Lindsay and just to be apart of it. I'm glad they came!

When we first got up there I was really slow-thinking and kinda overwhelmed. (For one, I was freezing and early morning!) But really, I stood there looking around trying to figure out where to take pictures. Not that I couldn't find a good place for pictures, but everywhere I looked it was beautiful and perfect for photos. The problem was I didn't know where to start!!
I love how the photos turned out. This was exactly the kind of shoot I've been craving to do!

ANYWAYS, these are some of my favorites from the shoot!

Okay so these next pictures....the bride wanted to go for a vintagey/antique feel for her pictures, so for fun I took a bunch of them and really made them look antique through photoshop! I actually love how they turned out!

Visiting the Oscarsons in the canyon

I can't believe we didn't go camping this year. I am so sad! We bought a new tent and everything! We just didn't make it happen. The Oscarsons went and invited us, but the weekend they were going just didn't work for us. We were able to visit them up there, though!
We love going up the canyon for picnics and fires!
Next summer...no excuse!! We WILL go camping at least once!
