Gemma gets more personality every day, and with each day I fall more in love with her.
She hasn't changed a whole lot from last month when it comes to the little stuff, but a few bigger stuff has happened:
-Eats WAY better than before. I can give her chunkier food now and she doesn't gag anymore.
-Way more coordinated when picking up food.
-Pulls herself up using anything around her like a pro. (By 8 months, she could pull herself up, but was a little wobbly) She has fantastic balance now!
-For the last few days she's been standing up using something to hold on to, but then she'll let go, and just stand there!!
-Says mama and dada! I don't think she knows how to address us yet. But when she's crying and upset (sad or hurt) she says mama mama mama, and so on, amidst her crying. She knows who "dada" and "mama" are. When I ask "where's daddy?" she looks around for him! Same goes for Abby!
-Sleeps through the night in her crib, no problem, as long as she has her glow in the dark binky to play with while falling asleep, with some music playing.
-Gemma DANCES. I totally love it! Anytime she hears some kind of beat she starts to dance. Even when I start to sing to her she'll dance! It's adorable!
And here's what kills me: Gemma now SMILES FOR THE CAMERA!! Seriously, if that's not a sign of how many pictures I take of her, I don't what is! If I say "say cheese" and there's a camera or cell phone in front of her, she will smile! I totally love it. And I love even more that she learned it while at Disneyland! (You guys know how I love Disneyland!)
These pictures I took one night when she was crying in her crib, the second I pulled out the camera she stopped crying and smiled for me!!
