Pioneer Day 2014

This is now our third year going to the Mapleton Pioneer Day celebration. It's a lot of fun, though I'll be honest, this year wasn't as fun for me as the previous years. For one, Tyler didn't get work off, so he wasn't with me. Second, I was big and pregnant so I was hot and sweaty and not really in the mood to dance. But I still enjoyed myself watching everyone else dance and have a good time! 

And of course their fireworks are always amazing! 

Girl's night!

After the baby shower I went with all the Orr ladies and Candice to Olive Garden for a short girl's night. Though, it wasn't super short cause well...the service wasn't the fastest. But it was fine. We all enjoyed each other's company and had a good time. 

We got back to the Orr's to find that the husbands were a bit tired of watching all the kids (they watched all of them during the baby shower too!) and they all wanted a men's night too, so Tyler, Uncle Matt, Tyler Jensen, and Kevin went to Costa Vida where they met up with Ryan and then all went laser-tagging. 

It was a good day.

My baby shower!

My baby shower was BEAUTIFUL all thanks to Rachel! She has such a gift for throwing parties and was so sweet to be willing to do my shower! And a big thank you to my Aunt Kimi as well for letting us have it at her house, as well as my mom, sisters and other aunts who all made delicious goodies for the party!

My original plan was that we were all just going to hang out, eat, chat and open gifts (because those things do take up a lot of time) but it seemed we needed a bit more, so at the last second (during the party actually) we decided we should play just a couple games too. 

The food was delicious, the games were fun and it was great seeing family and friends I hadn't seen in a while. 

I got such nice gifts from everyone and I'm so grateful for every single one!
